The seemingly conscience decision we make to refuse that little piece of cake can turn into an act of
compulsive behavior. In”The Dessert”series I use sugary confections as my subjects to explore issues that plague women in today’s society. Instead of the usual candles to top the cake sharp ominous objects take their place
in order to reveal the guilt that occurs when we are conscious of our daily diet.
